Japan – Halloween at Tokyo Disneyland

By Spunktitude @spunktitud3

Boo!

The recent landslide of Halloween photos on my social media accounts prompted me to start digging out my previous Halloween celebrations at Tokyo Disneyland; it was so fun that all the memories seemed so vivid it felt just like yesterday when I was there playing with Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella and other friends. It was so good I had to share, hence this photo diarrhoea blog post :p

Disneyland is always such a happy and magical place for me, and if I had one in my country – I would probably go there every week. Plus, with all the special decor during festivals, there’s always something new to discover at my fave amusement park. Would I go back Tokyo Disneyland for the 3rd time? Yes I would in a heartbeat :)

All decked out for Halloween – uber excited!

Even Mickey’s decorated in pumpkin orange

The Disney streets of spend, spend & spend. I always buy an insane amount of things at the stores.

This duck was laughing that I look as furry as him…no, I am not staying to be your girlfriend & if you laugh some more, I’ll make roast duck outta you.

Fwah – I didn’t know Pinocchio can sign autographs!

How many pumpkins can you spot? :D

Even the lampposts are not spared from the decorations

OH Mickey! *getting uber excited*
Special Halloween edition of the daytime parade

Alvin, boo!

This must be one of the youngest photographer I have seen, look so pro

Minnie! Hello sista!

Stitch!

She must be from The Little Shop of Horrors, so scary!

The ducks get brainy during Halloween

Pluto & Goofy welcome their new friend – skeleton mad hatter

The skeletons are real livewires. Till today I still remember the Halloween song and their dancemoves

*Waves*

The pretty dollies on show

Mickey, I luv u!! Muaks!

After the parade it was time to explore the rest of the magical kingdom

Oh, welcome to my humble abode…it’s just a simple castle, nothing ostentatious

‘Favourite’ activity of the day – q q q q q

Mickey’s PhilharMagic 4D Show!

Teacups is probably the only ‘thrill’ ride I can handle, I’m a scaredy cat!

And look who I bumped into – Alice!

OMG OMG I want I want those Minnie shoes!

And spotted a Dalmatian feasting on a drumstick…

And 2 Pink Panthers…

And 2 Ducks!

Whoa, Oba-san your tote is superb!

Getting into the haunted house. Waiting time? 70mins. I may grow cobwebs by the time I get in.

Even Dumbo looks evil during Halloween

What’s Halloween without pumpkins?

This tickled me up, oink!

Finally on my haunted ride!

It’s teeming with people everywhere!

Fancy a Halloween costume?

There were lots of kids in school uniforms who probably came after school. How cool! I wished I could do that. Then again – don’t you need to study?

Not to be upstaged, I donned on a headgear that could possibly stop traffic

Guess who lives in the cranky house?

Trick or Treat Minnie!

Masquerading Mickey

Now I’m a wizard!

Going Goofy

Totally dig the Minnie shades. Yes, I bought them :)

Minnie after gaining 20 pounds

We bumped into Peter Pan & friends, and he decided to have an impromptu arm-wrestling match, much to the glee of the Japanese girls

Kawaii neh!

As for me, I went to try on the glass slipper at Cinderella’s Castle. If it fits, I am filing a claim for the castle.

And so that’s how I became Queen for a day ;)

Since I was at Snow White’s, I decide to try sing and see if any birds would come. Nothing came, not even bird poo

So-so…at least I got to keep the cup. Which my mom has since confiscated for her daily cappuccino.

It’s time for the highlight of the day – The Electric Dream Parade!

Pooh & Tigger

Marie the Cat and Lilo gets sunny

Alvin & the Chipmunks

This changing lights genie is the coolest of them all – watch the video below

Snow White

Toy Story

Cinderella

Monsters Inc.

Verdict for the day? Exactly this cute baby’s expression – just FAB!

Oh what fond memories! Wait for me Disneyland, I will be back again soon. I miss you so much! xoxo
