James Patterson Keeps the Kids Laughing with "I Even Funnier"! #IEvenFunnier

Our family recently had the opportunity to check out the new book, I Even Funnier: A Middle School Story, by bestselling author James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein! This book is a follow-up to the first book in the series, I Funny, which we also read. Both books share the humorous adventures of Jamie Grimm, a middle-school boy who is in a wheelchair and lives with his aunt, uncle and cousins. The video below features my boys telling you more about both of these terrific books. As you'll see, when they're not reading their reviews, they seem to think they're as funny as Jamie!

I Funny and I Even Funnier are both filled with funny jokes to keep children amused, but they also teach valuable lessons about friendship, family, and coping with tragedy. Even though Jamie’s had a tough life so far, with the death of his parents and sister and being confined to a wheelchair, he learns to deal with his heartache through humor and reaching out to those around him. This is an inspirational -- and yes, funny -- series that kids will love. We can’t wait for Book 3 to find out if Jamie is crowned the Planet’s Funniest Kid Comic!
