Jame’asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Kiulap, Brunei

By Kaidarul @KaiDarul

So, you thought my travel post about Brunei is done? You’ve got it wrong! I still have three or so. For this post, I will be showing you the Jame’asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque in Kiulap, Brunei Darussalam.

“This mosque is the largest mosque in Brunei. It was built to commemorate the 25th anniversary the sultan’s reign. It is locally known as the Kiarong mosque. – Wikipedia”

Btw, before we went to the mosque, we ate first at an Indonesian sort of carinderia. Feel free to read the post here.

Minaret of the mosque from the house where I stayed. Really breathtaking!

The actual view. :P

Road to the mosque from the house.

Just around the around the block is the house where we stayed.

The steel fence.

Welcome.

Fountain at the gate.

Another gate.

This is wicked. The flowers around the mosque are mostly orchids. <3"><3"><3" title="Jame’asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Kiulap, Brunei" /><3" class="wp-smiley" />

I should be a travel blogger. <3"><3"><3" title="Jame’asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Kiulap, Brunei" /><3" class="wp-smiley" /> Oh well, I have the least amount of money to travel. Maybe soon. But for now, just learn to love my travel posts from way back.

And yes! I don’t have a photo of myself to show you. Apparently because I cannot let you see a haggard me. lol.
