JADE Talks About Possible Tour and Song-Writing

JADE is able to capture the moment and emotion in her lyrics.

So it’s not surprising that her latest single Wait For Me was a huge success.  We also would like to remind everyone that the single was also one of our Fresh Finds Friday.  In case you missed that you can catch the article here.  With this young artist skyrocketing up the charts we were happy to be able to have a few questions answered.

Tell our readers about yourself and what makes your music different?

I am a singer-songwriter who just moved to LA. I love writing lyrics best, I think they’re the most important part of the songwriting process. I write a lot more songs than I release. I have songs all on guitar, piano, and ukulele. I like to write in different genres and different types of lyrics as well!

What has been your favorite song you’ve worked on so far?

I think so far, my favorite song I’ve worked on is something on the next record! I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Who is your favorite person you’ve worked with on your music?

My producer Squrl, of course! We make all of our music together and create great stuff when collaborating. My strengths are his weaknesses and vise versa.

What do you want people to take away from your music?

I hope they take away that growing pains are an important part of life and although they may hurt they’re  necessary.

Are you working on any new music? If so, what is the sound and when can someone expect to hear it?

Yes! New music to be expected early 2018!!! It’s definitely got more power behind it. Makes you dance, cry, start swinging. You know, all the things you feel in a year. Lots of stuff coming.

Are you doing any shows soon? Where and when can people see you perform next?

We want to tour!!! We’re tossing ideas around for after this next album, so keep an eye out!

What made you want to get in the music industry?

Singing and writing always made me feel happy inside. I’d sing for hours and I loved everything about it! I remember being excited to get home from school so I could write a song! I love performing them as well. There is nothing quite like the feeling of when you know you just wrote a really kick ass song. ​
