Verdict on Jade
Jade is an action thriller following a member of a gang fighting back against a host of enemies to protect loved ones. However, she finds herself dealing with endless enemies and not knowing who to trust in this deadly situation.
This movie shows Shaina West’s combat skill set. She excels in the hard-hitting combat sequences, blood-splatter filled with an ounce of comic book styling. When it comes to the story, it puts us on a journey of somebody in the wrong place at the wrong time who must use their skill set to fight back. It comes off like an enjoyable late-night action movie, one that is easy to watch and lets the combat take over. One of the highlights is seeing combat skill veteran Mark Dacascos in a mentor-like role to a younger potential star too.
