Jacquemus Spring Summer 2021 fashion show celebrates "L'Amour": the double "S" walkway between wheat fields

Perhaps the sunset is not the one imagined by the designer Simon Porte: the rays of the sun had to enhance the golden notes of the wheat, increasing the contrast with the shades of the sunset and at the bottom the sweet and green hills. But time cannot be decided or managed, and so that light haze with the clouds on the horizon have given a particular dreamy atmosphere at the parade of Jacquemus Spring Summer 2021.

In one year, the intense scent of lavender has gone from intoxicating grain smell: the parade is an immersion in nature, in the French countryside, given that the event is off the digital catwalk calendar and sees the presentation of the women's collection together with that of men.

The collection paraded under the title "L'Amour"But the first image shared on social media is a shot from the other (most likely made with a drone) that shows the walkway between wheat fields that forms a sinuous double "S" line. The curves are in fact the protagonists: the balloon sleeves, the skirts and the tight dresses that rest on the sides which enhance the sinuous silhouette that develops between the sides and the breast. An all-natural beauty, like the atmosphere that you breathe between the ears.

The color palette emphasizes the yellow: full but delicate. He took the place of pink, fil rose from the summer 2020 collection: this precise shade of yellow seems stolen from the paintings en plein air and goes perfectly with black, white and green. Simon Porte's fashion is played on tone on tone, even more powerful if we see the total yellow looks against the background of ripe wheat.

To open the show a long white dress, with a large central slit and a cross of multiple straps that adorn the décolleté. Immediately the image goes to Vittoria Ceretti who recently said "yes" to DJ Matteo Milleri wearing a garment signed Jacquemus (in detail it is the model La Robe Manosque in version total white). In fact, the Spring Summer 2021 collection offers a series of dresses (long and mini dresses) that fully express femininity: focus on the back, put on display by necklines and interlacing of ribbons.

To these items add the broken pieces and suits: knee-length bermudas coordinated with maxi blazers (another symbol of the house), tops and blouses cut above the waist worn with pencil or pleated skirts. And then the cuts designed to amaze: vertiginous slits that show the legs, the necklines on the back, the unbuttonings but also the micro tops that show the breast line or a belt knotted at the waist where the skirt is lowered. The final look is apparently listless, decomposed, it seems the result of one night of love. It is no coincidence that the white bra has two micro cushions instead of cups.

As for accessories, the designer focuses on minimal sandals with laces and the iconic handbag La Chiquito also proposed as charms for earrings. And it is indeed the jewels that adorn the models' faces: gold maxi earrings in the shape of a leaf or an ear of corn. Hair is long, left in the wind, or gathered in decomposed chignon also held by long pins.
