Italy and the Music in the Summer: Abbronzatissima

When my granma was young the summer holidays were an occasion only for few people. More and more they became an event for the population and the traditional month for the summer holidays was August , when many companies closed for what they called "pausa estiva". What meant going  on holiday for our granma? It meant sea, beach, fun and music.
Every year since the 60s we have had a "tormentone" , a very famous song  for all the summer that you can listen everywhere ( bars, restaurants, radios). Some of these tormentoni are now in the Italian history of the popular music.
Let's go to the 60s. It was the 1963 when on the main beaches in italy all the juke boxes played Abbronzatissima Edoardo Vianello. This happy song is about the sun, the life on the beaches during the holiday and the dreams in this season. It was one of the first Italian tormentoni.

This is the classical version that is now in the Italian music history. In the 2003 this song became a remake for the new generation, it was sung by an Italian rapper called Brusco...not always the remake are better than the original but even if this new version was arguable, it made dance a lot of young people in the disco during the summer of 2003.

So how to say we can strat to dance with this tomentone both in the classical and "remake" version. ( I love the classical version of course!)
