It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

By Joyweesemoll @joyweesemoll

I guess I kind of disappeared for Thanksgiving week. That wasn’t really what I intended.

We had a pretty active Readers’ Workouts discussion last week: Readers’ Workouts — November 20. Join us tomorrow for more adventures of athletic readers and reading athletes.

Yesterday, I listed the holiday events that I intend to participate in on my blog. My virtual Christmas plans – ‘Tis the Season for Book Blogger Holiday Events.

Read

I finished The Forest House by Marion Zimmer Bradley and enjoyed it. It joins the growing pile of books that I mean to write a review for. I’ll get to it.

Reading

I got stuck with A History of Ancient Britain because I so want to draw a timeline of the first chapter — all about the people who lived before and between the ice ages. As soon as I get around to drawing my time line, I’ll get back to reading the book.

In the meantime, I picked up Ghost Knight by Cornelia Funke, the author of Inkheart. Ghost Knight is another middle grade novel. This one’s set in present-day Salisbury, England but features ghosts from the area’s history. It’s a quick read and, so far, quite fun.

Will Read

I haven’t picked out my next book yet.

What are you reading?

It’s Monday! What Are Your Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila of Book Journey. Be sure to check out her post today to see her selections and the list of links to all the other participating bloggers.
