It’s Beginning to Sound a Lot Like Christmas!

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

Flip on your radio and tune into 93.9, it’s that time! For the 14th consecutive year, WLIT 93.9 FM will be playing Christmas music 24/7 from now until December 26th.

“Eleven months on 93.9 My FM you can hear Maroon 5, P!nk, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and more variety from the ’90s ’til now,” said Mick Lee, program director of the radio station, “But it’s time to officially kick off Chicago’s holiday season with non-stop Christmas music.”

The station has turned its Christmas music start date into a guessing game each year, prompting listeners to take to their website to place their guesses online.

Edison the Reindeer, the station’s official holiday mascot, is making a return as well.

The station brought in more than 3.2 million visitors per week in December last year, and this year is expected to bring more of the same. As they say, it’s beginning to look sound a lot like Christmas!
