Tata Motors, one of the largest cars makers in India, has announced plans to raise prices of their cars and SUVs sold in the country. From April 1st, the new price of the Hatchback, Sedan and Sports Utility Vehicle will be implemented from the company's electric cars. It should be noted that just a day after the announcement of the price of commercial vehicles sold in the country, the announcement was made by the car maker.

Tata Motors has been raising the price of passengers and commercial cars since April

Although commercial cars, such as bus and truck prices increase up to 2 percent, Tata has not yet reported the increase in prices for passenger cars. The brand has decided to partially raise the car price to cope with increasing input costs and inflation. Depending on the price and the model, the amount of this price increase will vary.

Keeping in mind, the brand has raised the price of Tad's car for the second time in 2021. Before the start of the new year, the price of passenger vehicles increased by up to 5 percent. Tata Motors currently sell models like Tiago, Tigor, Punch, Nexon, Curve, Harrier and Safari in the Indian market. On the other hand, they have models like Tiago EV, Tiger EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curve Evi in their electric vehicle maker branch.

In the middle of this year, Tata is reported to be planning to bring another electric SUV, Harrier EV market. It is to be noted that before Tata, Maruti Suzuki has announced the increase in prices of all the vehicles sold in the country. According to models and variants, the price will rise up to 5 percent. The new price is about to be effective from next month.
