I really enjoyed Islands Of Mercy. The book has a cast of rich, complex characters who are all well-written and really come alive. I especially like Jane, a fellow lesbian, and her struggle to hold onto her heart when faced with seemingly impossible choices. The book is well-written and engrossing. The author really brings Bath and the era to life. I had a great time reading this.
