Kim Kardashian in Bahrain

American reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s milkshake brought out more than fifty angry Muslim hardliners in the yard as she visited Bahrain to launch a milkshake franchise on Saturday, witnesses reported.

The clashes came to pass just before the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star opened a branch of her Millions Of Milkshakes shop in the Gulf realm.

About one hundred demonstrators with banners and placards chanted “God is Great” near The Walk Bahrain, a shopping complex in Riffa. The protesters were however cleared before the arrival of the celebrity.

It’s worth mentioning here that Kim Kardashian stirred controversy even before her arrival in Bahrain from Kuwait, where she launched her Milkshake franchise a few days earlier.

According to reports, police also fired tear gas and threw stun grenades to disperse the mob denouncing Kim’s visit to Bahrain. However, on Sunday, the promoter who brought the Hollywood star to the Gulf state, Hasan denied the reports of protesters being tear-gassed by police stating “WHAT PROTESTS?? Kim Kardashian loved by the people of Bahrain & wants to return!!”
