It is about one more Indian cricketer today as well. This time it is the most successful pacer in Indian cricket team, Ishant Sharma. Ishant got engaged to his long time friend Pratima Singh, who is national level basketball player, playing for India.
Ishant and Pratima exchanged rings in presence of some relatives and close friends on sunday. Ishant’s career is full of several ups and down throughout, and he couldn’t manage to get a fixed position in ODI squad. But, this 6’4” Delhiite is an integral part of the test side and seems to have revitalized with Virat Kohli. On the other hand, Pratima is the current member of Indian women national basketball team. She belongs to a family which has a legacy to follow-many members play basketball. Known as Singh sisters, her three sisters also join her in Indian women’s national basketball team.
Ishant recently played for the Rising Pune Supergiants, one of the two newly formed franchises in the IPL, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. He is preparing for the upcoming four-match Test series in the Caribbean these days against West Indies. As seen from Ishant and Pratima’s twitter account activities, they are in touch from a very long time and are good friends of each other. The duo looking gorgeous in their engagement pictures which were revealed by Pratima’s sister Divya Singh.
