Is Sharing Really Caring?

By Tanvi Rastogi @tanviidotcom

Let me share something unpopular about myself with you today and then defend it with my logic. I am not a sharer. I do not like sharing. To clarify, I have absolutely no problem in giving but sharing is something I don't enjoy even a tad bit.

Let me elaborate. For example, if there is food being ordered (or served) I would like to know my share in advance (however little that might be) and once decided I want my complete share. After the division I do not appreciate anyone taking a bite from my plate. If something is limited or there is only one piece available, I will probably step back and not have a bite versus having to split that morsel in a million pieces for the sake of 'sharing'.

That's a reasonable example though, because even if the budget is limited, resources are sparse, and there aren't many options, I still don't like sharing. For the record, just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I don't share. I do share. But not happily. #IAmWhoIAm đŸ¤ˇđŸť‍♀️

Moving on the outfit ... earlier this year I had introduced you to Grey State Apparel. In today's post I am styling another piece from their collection - Marlow Dress. Oh, and I am in love with it and here's why: it is a wrap dress, the fabric is luxe and flow plus it fits like a dream. Win, Win & Win!

A cherry on the top are these pictures shot by the fabulous Natasha. A little behind-the-scene information about the day of the shoot - we had planned for another location which didn't workout, hence the black outfit on a spring day. We spontaneously decided to shoot nearby and per usual Natasha did her magic and made me look good. I might or might not be kinda-obsessed with these pictures. You decide. :)
