iQOO U3 launched as a budget 5G smartphone from Vivo owned Tech brand. The smartphone is touted as the cheapest 5G phone from the company. The smartphone is running on Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.5 on top. The iQOO’s cheap 5G phone features a large battery, display and a decent camera setup.

iQOO U3 features a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution along with a 90Hz refresh fast rate. The display also supports HDR10, 401ppi pixel density, and a 20.07:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core 5G chipset coupled with Mali G57 MC3 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is no option to extend the storage via a microSD card.
In terms of Camera, the iQOO U3 will sport a dual rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will feature an 8-megapixel sensor under the waterdrop notch. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.4mm and weighs 185.5g.
The device will be packed with a 5000mah battery and may support 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company provided all the basic sensors including a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
iQOO U3 Price and Availability
iQOO U3 comes in two configurations including a 6GB + 128GB option that is priced at 1498 yuan ( Rs. 16,800 approx )and an 8GB + 128GB variant with a 1698 yuan ( Rs. 19,000 approx ) price tag. The smartphone comes in two color options namely Glow Blue and Black. Both variants are listed on JD.com and as per the gizmochina report, the device is expected to hit the market by Dec 17 in China only.
