iPad Air Takes Massive Damage in Soft Dirt Drop Test

Apple’s latest iPad Air may have tough features like a 64-bit A7 CPU, Retina display and motion processors. But, as it turns out the new tablet is extremely vulnerable to even the soft drops.

Folks over at RaterRR has picked up a brand new iPad Air to run it through their famous torture test that even involves shooting devices into pieces. And, in their first simple drop test, the new iPad Air takes in massive damage on the screen when it was dropped on soft dirt. Later on it gets dropped on the side, and then into water and also puts some holes using several guns. Considering how well iPad Air did in soft dirt drop, you can imagine how it will perform in those torture tests.

Just as its’ name, Apple’s new iPad Air is a device that you should handle with care. As you can see in the video, it only takes one drop to completely destroy the device. Who knows, it could even get damaged if you drop it onto a bed.
