Bosconi operates out of a 120,000 square foot State-of-the-Art Warehouse located in Pico Riviera, California. They have grown to become held in high-esteem amongst others in the community, being noted for their ability to produce exquisite bathroom vanities with counter tops that are made out of rare materials! As a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), they have a proven track record of maintaining a positive business model that encourages environmental and social responsibility.
Environmental Responsibility- CARB PH2 Certified
Bosconi has chosen to be an exemplary responsible business, operating within strict environmental guidelines that have qualified them to become CARB PH2 Certified. The California Air Resource Board was formed in 2009 in an effort to regulate formaldehyde emissions that are present in various composite wood products made within the state of California.
As you may know, formaldehyde is a highly-toxic and volatile organic compound that has been proven to adversely affect the conditions of human health. In 2011, the US National Toxicology Program deemed formaldehyde to be a known human carcinogen. (Gardiner Harris, NY Times) CARB has grown to become a cornerstone in the wood manufacturing and fabrication industries, members wearing their patch with a sense of pride and social accomplishment.
Through a dual phase process, CARB has significantly reduced formaldehyde emissions from various composite wood productions! Part of the process involved monitoring Hardwood Plywood (HWPW) production, controlling emissions from Particle Board (PB), and Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). All CARB Certified products can be identified by the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) label placed on each product.
Carrera Marble Tops
The Bosconi Deluxe Collection features some of the finest materials that can be found! “Luni Marble”, commonly referred to as Carrera Marble, was popularized during the Bronze Age by the Romans. This precious marble has been adored by Michelangelo and used in many Italian buildings such as the Basilica of Massa, the Sien Duomo, and the Statue of David. Held in high esteem by the world’s most prominent artists, Carrera Marble has not lost its significance in the new millennium.
Carrera is a white rock that exhibits a level of purity that simply cannot be found in other materials. Most notably, it does not contain veins that run through most stones. This special type of marble can be found in blue/gray hues; variation depending on the individual slab that the countertop was taken from. Exotic and highly regarded, these white rock counter tops contain reflective qualities that help light transcend the room naturally.
Dark Emperador Counter Top
Contrasting the lighter tones that are characteristic of Carrera, Dark Emperador is a brown marble that contains light veins. These counter tops have become a rarity because of the raw material that it is made of. Emperador can only be found in rare locations of Spain including Caudet and Jumilla. Similar to other natural stones, tonality is dependent on the amount of calcite in the particular rock.
