This poetry chapbook uses an unconventional layout with double spaces between stanzas containing a single line. I found the layout quite annoying even for such a short work. This struck me as gimmicky rather than necessary and put me off. The poems themselves really didn't do anything for me. The language used is stiff and pompous at times. There is some nice imagery but the overall tone left me cold. The poems in Interval's Night are the kind I don't really enjoy, long-winded, complex images, the kind of poems where you don't really understand what the poet is trying to say. They had a certain arrogance that left me cold. Sorry, but this chapbook was not for me.
