Interim Order Suspending Docs, Specialists Retirement at 60

The Court of Appeal issued an interim order yesterday (14) suspending the inclusion of doctors and specialist doctors in the gazette notification on the compulsory retirement age for government sector employees.

This is in reference to the Gazette notification issued earlier stating that the retirement age of government employees will be 60.This order will be valid till January 25. This order was made after considering the facts in a writ petition filed by 176 medical specialists.
