Easter Decorations
It’s warming up here in Northern California and I am feeling very Springy. I was able to get some Easter decorating and Easter crafts done last week, so I thought I would show you a few things around my house. Hopefully, you can use some of these Easter ideas for inspiration in your own home.
I’m keeping things pretty simple in my living room. Just a few Springy touches to tie together the decorations I already have going on.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I love German Glass Glitter from Meyer Imports and green moss. I use it in my decor all the time. If it sits still long enough, I will glitter it! And you can use sheet moss to bring a little green indoors in lots of ways. You can see how I made my own Moss Garden Balls with sheet moss here. Put German Glass Glitter and moss together in a banner and I am one happy decorating girl!
Don’t you love that foil wrapped chocolate bunny? Guess what! It won’t melt but it won’t be very tasty either. It’s just a figurine made to look like candy that I picked up at a discount store last year.
Our family room and kitchen are connected and I used lighter pastels in here to go with the lightness of the furniture. And yes, I have 2 boys and dog and all that white furniture. Slipcovers are awesome!
I’m still loving my Chevron fabric covered wall. Yup, that’s fabric!
I picked up the Dairy sign a few weeks ago from another vender at Shabby Creek on Main where I rent a retail space. It’s my new favorite thing in my home.
These German Glass Glitter Easter Eggs will only look better with time as the glass glitter begins to tarnish and get a beautiful patina.
I put together a little vignette for my table centerpiece. I used more of that wonderful sheet moss for grass and some ball jars filled with pastel eggs to give it some height. A few mercury glass easter egg ornaments add some shine.
There are Spring fresh carrots popping out all over the place around here!
I bought this banner at Target last year and it’s a great find. I like to have a few decor pieces that are seasonal and not just for a particular holiday. That way I can leave them up a little longer.
I flanked the tv with these moss garden urns. And of course I had to add a few sea shells!
And finally, I did an update to my chalkboard with a little chevron and a bunny to tie it all together. I interrupted my furry friend’s nap to take this picture and she wouldn’t move from her chair. (Yes, she thinks she owns this chair. ) But it’s hard to say no to those eyes!
Hope you got a few ideas that you can use in your own home this Spring and Easter Season!
