Many people are surprised by the usefulness of products they already have in your home. While they can be used as seasoning or baking, you may find them useful as a natural cleaner. Take a peek online for the amazing uses inside your kitchen cabinets—it may surprise you.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is an excellent product. For many people, they use it as a substitute for butter—as it remains a fat, but reduces caloric intake. However, there are many other uses for coconut oil.
One unexpected use comes from the beauty industry. Adding coconut to your diet can improve dental health. It also can be used as lotion to improve the quality of your skin. It moisturizes your skin and can fend off infection. Some people use it as a deodorant if they want to go natural. Coconut oil’s natural scent makes it a good way to clean.
Baking Soda
Here is another example of the usefulness of products-While it is usually used as an ingredient in cakes and cookies, baking soda has several other uses. Some people use it as an air freshener or deodorant—just like coconut oil. It has a strong scent that can reduce the smell of your garbage can as well.
People even use baking soda as a type of cleaner. Baking soda can destroy organic material stuck in your drain pipes. It also works remarkably well as a counter cleaner. If you have stained pots or pans, baking soda might be an effective way to remove stains.
Salt
Everyone has salt in their home—no question. But instead of using it to preserve or flavor your food, you can discover new ways to make use of this commonplace tool. It can be used in similar ways as baking soda or coconut oil (cleaning), but it has its own unique purposes.
If your dog is prone to getting fleas, you may want to wash their house out with saltwater. It repels fleas and kills them if they are waiting for your dog. You can also apply saltwater to insect stings or bites to reduce swelling. The basic medical treatments you can do are remarkable.
If there is a product you need to get work done around the house, don’t just add it to your grocery list. Consider what resources you already have at your disposal. You will become more resourceful and save a lot of money by checking the products in your cabinet first.

Come Join us for our Virtual Panettone Bake-Along!
You are probably surprised to hear that we have a new event, but guess what? We do! This new event has been a struggle in the making but a joy to produce! This event is a Panettone Bake-Along that will be virtual so I can connect with as many people as possible and keep everyone safe in the meantime. Here’s the link to the ticket page: the-art-of-living-prima-media.ticketleap.com/from-italy-with-love/
This new event is called From Italy with Love and is a panettone bake-along where I will be demonstrating how to bake my famous holiday panettone. Just having a new event is exciting enough, but we also have an extra announcement with this event! Molino Denti, an Italian flour company, will be sponsoring the event and the first ten ticket buyers will receive a bag of their high-quality flour!
Tickets will be $35.00, and the event will last about two hours. Additionally, once a person purchases a ticket, they will be able to download the recipe and further instructions, so they also have the ability to bake-along with me during the actual event! Those who will receive the Molino Denti flour, may get that delivered before the event but we can make no promises on that account simply because of the large number of packages being delivered during the holidays, so have some spare flour handy! GET TICKETS NOW and be one of the first 10 to get a free bag of flour from Italy!
I can’t wait to see as many people as possible during the event and hopefully we are able to spread some holiday cheer even while we are far apart. The minimum you will get from attending this event is a delicious recipe for my panettone, but the most you will get is the feeling of togetherness and a sense of well-being (but definitely don’t forget about that panettone!). I truly hope I get to see you for this event.
Sincerely,
Maria Liberati
