Infinix NOTE 12i smartphone has been recently launched in the Indian mobile market. This budget smartphone has attractive design and triple camera setup. Also, Dewdrop Notch has been used in it. AMOLED display has been used in this handset priced below Rs 10,000. The initial price of this phone is listed at Rs 9,999. Display and design of Infinix NOTE 12i

Tear drop notch has been used in this handset of Infinix. Apart from this, thick bezels have been used in it, which is a bit rough. In this handset, Type C USB Port, 3.5mm Audio jack port and speaker grill are available on the bottom side. This phone works on Android 12 based.

Talking about the display, it comes with an AMOLED panel, due to which its viewing experience is better. It has Full HD Plus resolution and peak brightness of 1000 nits, due to which this display looks a bit bright and it can be easily used even during direct sunlight.

The company claims that even using the highest brightness, the battery of the mobile will not go down fast. This display supports 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. For better gaming experience, enhancement mode has been used in it.

Performance of Infinix NOTE 12i

MediaTek Helio G85 chipset has been used in this handset of Infinix, which gives an average speed to gaming. But high end games like Garena Free Fire Max can also be played in this handset of Infinix. However, playing on high graphics does not provide a very smooth experience. Game Mode is available in other Infinix smartphones. Coming back to the Infinix NOTE 12i again, the handset uses 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and also offers 4GB of virtual RAM. So overall, smooth experience is available in it. Talking about storage, 64 GB eMMC 5.1 storage has been used in it.

Android 12 based XOS 12.0 skin is available in this mobile of Infinix, due to which it gets many new features and some different user interface. The home screen looks very attractive and bright as soon as the smartphone is opened. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the update of its Android OS.

Battery performance of Infinix NOTE 12i

Infinix NOTE 12i has a 5000mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery and a 33W charger with it. The company claims that it can give a battery backup of about 2 days on a full charge and on average usage. It takes about 1:30 minutes to fully charge its battery.

This Infinix mobile has triple camera setup on the back panel. Although its design is such that it can look like a quad camera setup. It has a primary camera of 50MP, which comes with f / 1.6 aperture. It helps in clicking good photos in daylight. Due to this, good photos can be clicked even in better indoor and night time. However, when it is too dark, its picture quality looks a bit weak. 2 Megapixel Depth sensor and QVGA lens have been used in this. Quad LED flashlight has been used in this.

Our verdict on Infinix NOTE 12i is that it is a good option to come with an AMOLED display for less than Rs 10,000. Better viewing experience is available in this. From display to design is attractive. The company has saved the time of the users by giving a 33W charger. It has good battery backup. Overall, it can be a good option coming in less than Rs 10,000. However, the performance of the phone is not so good.
