Indiana Blogs: Hoosier Homemade

Hoosier Homemade is virtual proof that Hoosiers know their way around a kitchen!

An avid baker, Liz will clue you in on her homemade favorites. If you are a chocolate fan like me–you’ll find plenty to keep you busy.

Indiana Blogs: Hoosier Homemade

Why did you start Hoosier Homemade?
I have been blogging for about 2 1/2 years, since February 2009. I started HH to share my passion for homemaking; cooking, baking and decorating, with everyone, specifically to help Mothers and Women be heroes to their families.

What about that name? Why Hoosier Homemade?
Simply because I was born, raised and still live in Indiana, thus making me a Hoosier and everything homemade. Helping you “Make your house a home.”

What are three of your most favorite posts?
This is a tough one, there are so many that I love…

This post pretty much sums up my love of baking…The Best of Baking Recipes and I absolutely love our home during the holidays, it’s magical…Holiday Home Tour and the most viewed post I have, Homemade Twix Bars.

What keeps you ready and raring to post? Why do you blog?
My passion, I just love to cook, bake and decorate and always have since I was a very young girl.

I think it’s safe to say that you spend a fair bit of time in the kitchen! What’s your favorite type of food to make?
I would bake everyday, all day if I could. I love creating cupcakes.

Do you have a favorite food memory?
I remember my Mom rolling noodles out on the Dining Room table (which I now use everyday) and letting them dry on newspapers.

What people, living or dead, would you like to cook dinner for?
I’d love to cook for any of the Food Network Stars, Sandra Lee, Ina Garten, Bobby Flay, etc. etc.
