Former Indian cricketer and Cricket Advisory Committee member Madan Lal has given a befitting reply to those who criticized Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Madan Lal raised the question that when people used to like Virat Kohli’s aggressive style till some time back, then why are they being criticized in this matter.

Virat Kohli celebrated aggressively after the dismissal of New Zealand captain Kane Williamson during the Test series concluded against New Zealand some time ago. During this time he was also seen pointing towards the audience in an aggressive manner.

Madan Lal also biffed at a journalist during the press conference.

Madan Lal said, at first the Indian fans wanted an aggressive captain. Now that we have an aggressive captain in the form of Virat Kohli, the fans want them to stop their aggressive style. I like his behavior on the field. We need an aggressive captain like him.

The tour of New Zealand was a disappointment for Virat Kohli. He was able to score just 38 runs in the two Test matches at an average of 9.5. He was able to score a half-century only once in 11 innings on this tour.

Madan Lal said that every player goes through a bad phase and Virat Kohli will also overcome this phase soon. He said, there is no denying that he is still the best batsman in the world. Technical flaws can happen to everyone and Virat will make a comeback in the next series.
