Incontinence On The Courts: Be “Pee-Pared”.

You might think that only mothers and the elderly have incontinence issues, or that it's normal to "pee a little" when you sneeze hard. Well, it happens to more women than you think, and you'd be surprised at how many of them stop living the active life they love simply because they are afraid of having "accidents", and they don't want the embarrassment of wearing adult diapers.

This happened to an older friend of mine who used to love running, but she would get so frustrated with going out for her daily run and coming home soaked - and not just with sweat. She tried feminine pads and found that the regular pads felt uncomfortable and would "bunch", and the panty liners didn't have enough absorption... and she'll never consider Depends. She's still on the hunt for a solution, and I know she'll be reading this post, and I'm quite confident she'll find it here :-)

If you or someone you know has incontinence, there IS help out there - and I'm not talking about surgery. You can kick it with Kegels, which are exercises that help strengthen the muscles in the pelvic floor. You can cut the caffeine, which is a natural diuretic and an incontinent bladder's worst enemy. AND you can watch this video for the BEST. ADVICE. EVER.
