In Which Groggy Kicks Dick Nixon Around and Charges with Lord Cardigan

Today, I've had two pieces published on two separate websites! Please forgive me a few paragraphs of self-promotion.
First, to mark the upcoming 40th anniversary of Richard Nixon's resignation, I penned another Moviepilot piece exploring Nixon's various film incarnations. Since Nixon turns up in the most unlikely ephemera (Futurama, Black Dynamite, and most recently X-Men: Days of Future Past) this seemed a fun topic. Read it here.
Secondly, Anglotopia published my "long read" article on Lord Cardigan here. This piece will interest history buffs more than film fans, but I know several regular readers are both.
Speaking of Nixon, Rick Perlstein's new book The Invisible Bridge is debuting in the United States. His two previous books, Before the Storm and Nixonland, are brilliant analyses of conservatism and its rise during the tumultuous '60s. Soon as I have $40 spending money, this one joins the collection.
My previously announced fiction project is on temporary hiatus.
Review-wise, we may be exploring Tricky Dick this week - God knows there's plenty of films to dissect. Hopefully my Soylent Majority of loyal readers will bear with me.
