For my assignment, I was to check out the following: lighting equipment, a camera, mics and other sound recording type equipment. Doesn't sound too bad, right?
And it wasn't until I had to grab all of said equipment across campus on a cart and by the time I was halfway up the bridge, I immediately regretted my decision. It wasn't the fact I was dragging huge boxes across campus and I was receiving weird glances from those passing by, it was the fact that as I carried these boxes up and down a hill, they didn't want to stay on the cart, so I had to hold them in place, which was quite annoying. But enough of me going on about how weak I am.
As for the equipment, it was pretty much easy to put together and work with. I'd remembered much of the information from the session we had going over each piece. However, the question I had once I unloaded all this equipment was what I was going to do with it. I knew I had to take pictures of it, but how? What was I going to do with a room full of equipment? It seemed easy enough to just snap photographs of it, but I wanted to do something more, so I had to call in reinforcements AKA my roommate, Elena. And so I made a video of us messing around with the equipment.
And more pictures of said equipment.
