In Italy: Data Visualization and Newspapers

Posted on the 16 November 2016 by Themarioblog @garciainteract

The editors of Corriere della Sera, one of the most prestigious newspapers in Italy, are seriously interested in presenting stories via data visualization.  So they have gone to Tommi,

an independent design studio in Milan to help them tell stories visually.

Tommi’s website describes their work as specializing in “Data Visualization, Information design, Visual journalism
and Editorial projects.”

The topics that Tommi has collaborated with Corriere on range from urban waste disposal in Italy to the fees charged by Bill and Hillary Clinton to give speeches.

“We all have a visual mind,” says information designer Tommaso Guadagni, who heads Tommi.
