Are you prepared if there is an emergency?
In the past week or so there have been tornadoes in parts of the U.S. that are uncommon for this time of year. Usually they peak in the spring, not in January. I wonder: are parents in the tornado zones prepared for their children?
I recently emptied a bag I keep near the door in case I need to leave my house in a hurry with the kids (or if I need to retreat to a safe part of the house!). It had some outdated items and clothing that no longer fits the kids. I have to re-fill it with new items, like clothing, blankets, non-perishable food and water soon!
