Daily Constitutional editor Adam writes… Last Wednesday Tottenham Hotspur took over Wembley Stadium to host Monaco in the Champions' League while their own home ground, White Hart Lane, undergoes some work to expand capacity. 

It was a famous night with a crowd of 85,011 – a new English record attendance for a club match. For my daughter Isobella (age 9) it was her first Spurs game (she's a big fan) and, despite the score (Monaco won 2-1) it was a memorable night…
