The NFT artist with the most sales in the world will move from Ethereum to Solana through Metaplex and Render Network.

Beeple is coming to Solana. Solana’s NFT standard was made by Stephen Hess, CEO of Metaplex Studios. He told the news today at Solana’s Breakpoint conference in Lisbon, Portugal.

Hess said that “In partnership with the Render Network, we’re excited to welcome Beeple to Metaplex and Solana,” and adding that Beeple would be debuting the future of streaming and immersive 3D NFTs.

Few details were known about the partnership, and a further announcement was set for Monday. But a slide that went with Hess’s announcement gave some hints. Users will be asked to : “create your own unique NFT with a Beeple every day, using a random set of objects and time to create with.”

Beeple is already very involved with Render Network. It is an advisor for the platform, which gives creators access to remote rendering power through a decentralized peer-to-peer network. In December, Render Network raised $30 million through a funding round in which the Solana Foundation and Alameda Research participated.

Since his $69 million NFT sale last year made headlines, Beeple has expanded out into tokenized physical art with a kinetic video sculpture connected with an NFT, and has begun work on a digital art studio to showcase his and other artists’ work.
