Imagine One Place For All Your Online Networks?

I received a tweet the other day from a dear friend over on Twitter and it was about a website to have all your social networks in ONE neat place. I put it aside until the weekend to explore. I thought this should be a really good one. Who would not want all their networks in one place instead of going from site to site?
It is called Alternion. I started to enter each place I was on and actually forgot I was on some places and had to find the passwords. I must admit I was disappointed that Pinterest and Quora were not on the list of 220+ choices. I hope they include them soon in the network. You can even add your Blogger or Wordpress blogs and all your email accounts.
The next thing that was difficult was finding folks you know on this all for one network. That will probably come in time too. It was in Beta for a while and just became available for all users to now join.
You can have all your updates from every social site or blog show up on there to your followers. Very neat! You can choose if you want your updates public or just to followers or just to yourself. So your Facebook posts, tweets, blogs, photo sharing accounts, YouTube videos and more can be shared there.
What amazed me was the profiles. I looked around for folks to follow and realized the profiles showed quite a bit of information about them even if they were not on Alternion but on Twitter or Facebook as your connections and when I looked at mine I was in SHOCK!
It had everything from Facebook and LinkedIn chock filled with so much personal information. My entire work history to birthdate, favorite movies, cell phone etc. Thank goodness I found the privacy page to manage that very quickly. I'm not one to have anything to hide but geez louise it had a lot of information!
I think this will be great place for businesses to be on. Another way for them to get exposure online and possibly save time. I will be doing that next for our retail website.
Will you be joining me over on Alternion where you can have all your networks in one place?
