Elba recently took a Bentley Continental GT Speed for a drive and has managed to break an 88-year-old UK land speed record by hitting speed of 180.361 mph (290.263 km/h) with the $270000 grand tourer.
The previous 174.8 mph speed “Flying Mile” record set by Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1927 with Napier-Campbell Blue Bird remained unbroken for 88-years, until Idris Elba took a crack at it.
