Ideas For Halloween!

By Ourbabyblog @OurBabyBlogx

With Halloween looming, you might be thinking about ideas on how to make it memorable for your little ones, or maybe you've got everything sorted but there seems to be something missing? I've put 4 things together to make a great Halloween this year, you don't need to spend a fortune either! Remember to have fun and don't eat all the kids sweets when they go to bed like last year..
Costume
Get the kids all dressed up, witches, cats, ghosts, skeletons, whatever you want, but don't forget you can dress up too! I've seen so many great family costumes from the Adams family to the breaking bad twosome, bumble bees and nurses and doctors! Get into character and really go all out with trick or treating!
Hair
Why not go all out and try a wig or hair pieces to transform your look, they are super quick and easy to apply and really can make all the difference! Not just for Halloween though, maybe you've been thinking about changing your hair color or style but not sure it'll suit you? They are such a great way to experiment first without spending loads of money just going for it, saves you lots of time and money!
Decorations
I love anything to do with doing up the house, this is the guest year we have actually both been off work and now Abbie is that bit older we can use that as our excuse to be children ourselves! Yes!! :). From candles to pumpkins, scary masks to cobwebs, there really is so much out there to make your house look eerie and spooky!

Makeup!

Whether you're an expert already or not really sure where to start, you could watch some videos online in Halloween makeup and give that a go, it doesn't have to be perfect either so anyone can do it! Get your partner involved too, even just using some white face paint and dark eyeshadow around his eyes will work well! Oh and don't forget the fake wounds and scratches to complete your look!
