Ibadan High Chiefs Nominate Lekan Balogun As Next Olubadan

Senator Lekan Balogun has been nominated to fill the vacant place of the Olubadan of Ibadan land.

Balogun was nominated by some Excessive Chiefs in Ibadan, the Oyo State.

Balogun, a health care provider, is the present Otun of Ibadan land.

The nomination of Balogun turned vital following the demise of Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, the final Olubadan of Ibadan land.

Oba Adetunji joined his ancestors on January 2nd this 12 months.

Balogun, who is among the Excessive Chiefs in Ibadan is the following in rank to the previous Olubadan.

The Excessive Chiefs who nominated Balogun on Thursday, are members of the Olubadan-in-council.

His nomination was achieved throughout a gathering held on the home of Excessive Chief Owolabi Olakulehin.

Olakulehin is the Balogun of Ibadan land.

The assembly was attended by the host, Excessive Chief Olakulehin and Balogun who's the present Otun of Ibadan land.

Others on the assembly have been the Osi Olubadan of Ibadan land, Excessive Chief Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland Excessive Chief Tajudeen Ajibola, Excessive Chief Eddy Oyewole Foko, Excessive Chief Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, Excessive Chief Kolawole Adegbola, and Excessive Chief Dada Ishioye.
