I've posted work by ceramic artist, Diana Fayt's before, which you can see here. She's extremely talented and every bit of her work that I've seen seems to demonstrate a cerebral approach to her method. It' not just pretty, it's smart.
Her 'glowbowls' that I recently ran across, are no exception. They're of simple design; a wired sculpture of organic bowls.
But at night, add a few votive candles in to the mix and suddenly you have a strand of serene sea creatures, floating and bobbing like jelly fish turned upside down. You can find this and other work by Fayt on etsy.
