I've Never Had Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream...

By Jessicavenoy @lovelyjesscuh
...until Saturday. UM, I have been missing out! I think it always weirded me out since it's green, but I finally caved and tried some and oh. my. gosh. NEW FAVORITE! So delicious. Move over
chocolate chip cookie dough ;)
Adam & I went to the beach on Saturday night to watch the sunset :) He asked if I wanted to stop and get some ice cream, and although I'm a health nut, I cannot say no to ice cream. It's my weakness!

We had a lot of fun...but then again, when don't we?! As usual, Adam took all of these lovely pictures :) I sure do love that guy!
And in case you were wondering about my outfit...

If you're new here (welcome!) and don't know what my Smell the Roses tasks are all about, you can find out everything you need to know here!
The reason I shared these pictures today is because last week's task was a bit hard to take pictures of. The task was to clean out your closet and donate what you don't use anymore. Well I did and dang...I got rid of two trash bags FULL of stuff! But I didn't really find posting pictures of my piles of clothes/shoes/bags to be of great interest so you got beach pictures instead :) I do have one picture to share from cleaning out my closet/drawers...

She always, always, always has to be in the middle of everything and I'm telling you, she doesn't miss a beat! Anyway, like I said, I got rid of 2 trash bags full of stuff. I brought them to my Mom's house yesterday, because Red Cross stops there once a month for donations :) It blows my mind to know that I can get rid of 2 full bags of stuff and not even blink an eye. I am blessed beyond words, and I don't take that for granted. I really hope that the stuff I donated makes its way to someone who isn't as fortunate as I am. Did you do a little bit of spring cleaning and donate anything? I'd love to read about it, so grab a button & link up!

This week's task:
Surprise someone just because.
Don't you just love when you get surprised? I know it makes me slow down and appreciate the moment. This task is actually inspired by something that happened when Adam & I went to the beach. We were about to pay for parking, when someone called us over to their car and gave us their parking pass that still had like an hour and a half of time on it. It seems like a small gesture, but it totally made our night!

So this week, let's surprise someone. It can be a stranger, a neighbor, a best friend, a boyfriend, a husband...you can leave them a note, buy them lunch, make them a special treat. There are no boundaries with this task, which is why I'm so excited about it :) I think I already know who I'm going to surprise and what I'm going to do!
.

I want to take a few seconds to thank all of you who participate in my little weekly tasks! I look forward to Monday every week just so I can see what you guys did :) I seriously have the best readers, and I want you to know that appreciate every single one of you!

Happy Monday, loves!
