I’ve Been Around the World – Street Art Tour

By Wanderlust23

Last year I had big plans to finally blog regularly and they fell through as always.  Life as it does got in the way but mainly the second half of 2015 was marred by seasonal depression, visa issues and a real hatred for my new job.

Most of those things have now thankfully resolved thmeselves or are on the way.  I’ve also been taking vitamin D consistently for the past month – only after years of my doctor saying I should because I am deficient.

I am finally feeling myself again, motivated and wanting to share about my goings on in London.  However, I know how easy it is for me to ditch the blog.  A time will come again where my mood will dip and I will retreat from it and I’ve come to terms with that and allowed myself to feel okay if there are long breaks in my writing.  We’re always our worse critic aren’t we?

This blog is pure hobby and fun for me.  It’s a way to document my wanderings so one day when I have children and grandchilden I can say hey look mom/grandma was cool and did things!  I saw the world!  I think I will need proof as my memory even now sometimes fails me.

As I go back to work Tuesday after not working all week – that’s right it will be a 10 day weekend for me in the end (I only took 2 days off for Christmas, I sooo derserve it!) I’ve decided to get another post in before reality bites.

I give you my world street art photo essay.  I didn’t blog about street art at all last year which is very unlike me, it’s kind of my thing.  So here we are, this is what I’ve saw in 2015 and 2016 so far.  If I know the artist and if I remember the exact location I’ve added that information.

I’m sure a huge portion of these are still in place so if you are visiting London just walk around these areas and you will stumble on something great.

This is just a snippet, I had to stop because it would be a super long essay.  These are some of the best that I’ve but I have to say Zabou, Vinie Graffiti and Jimmy C are probably among my favorite artists.  Also a shout out to more females entering the sphere and being well known.

Happy Easter!
