I Think I Need My Amalgams Removed

By Matthewspuzzle @matthewspuzzle

Lately I have noticed I am struggling more and more to find the correct word. I’ve also noticed that as I am reading out loud to the boys, I am having a hard time saying the word I am reading. I thought it was just me, but my husband has mentioned that he is noticing it to. That scared me.

He and I agree with my family history that I should see a neurologist sooner, rather than later. So I guess I’ll be making that call this week. But this problem has brought up a few concerns in the way I live my life and take care of my health. For a few years now my husband has been trying to get me to stop coloring my hair. I did for a while, but I had a hard time accepting all those grays! It really made me look and feel old. But as my husband pointed out, dumping those chemicals directly on my scalp every three weeks really can’t be healthy. Even if I do use the natural hair color!

But his fears got me thinking. Not only do I color my hair, but I live daily with quite a few “silver” amalgams in my teeth. For those who don’t already know, silver fillings are actually almost 50% mercury. Most dentists will tell you they are perfectly safe, but there have been studies showing the mercury can off gas through simple things we do all day, every day. If you have ever watched a crime scene TV show you know forensic evidence comes simply by rubbing to things together and they leave traces of each other. What do you do with your teeth? You chew and bite, of course. And every time you eat some of that mercury is released and you breathe it in. I also grind my teeth, which of course does the same thing all night long. Mercury vapor can also come from your fillings getting hot such as from drinking hot liquids. I am a huge fan of coffee!

So my husband and I have decided I need to get these filling out too. I’m calling my dentist to see if they would be willing to remove the fillings even if they are not structurally failing. If not, I will find a dentist that specializes in this kind of removal. Once that is done, I will have to wait a few months and then I will need to start AC chelation. I really do not wish to end up with Alzheimer’s or other problems and I’m afraid I am already on that path. Stay well.
