Under the Dome
I feel really bad saying this because one of my very very good friends is the executive producer of Under the Dome but...I'm done with the Dome. I waited a year for some answers. Not only didn't I get ANY answers, I got way more questions. Not cool Stephen King. Sure it was good to see Barbie, Big Jim, Linda, Jr and Julia. And maybe it was cool that they SPOILER ALERT: killed Linda in the first 5 minutes of the show, but still. The magnets, the dome, the dreams, the fact that nobody's worried about garbage pickups, food deliveries, housing etc. Some people are affected by the dome and some aren't it's just too many questions and not enough answers for me. Plus I had a hard time with the fact that the magnet pulled the ALUMINUM siding off the house. Come on guys. Anyway, I know when enough's enough for me and I've had enough of the dome. Sorry PL! I feel guilty but I'm done. THE OTHER STUFF
-I've been trying to find a list of marathons to provide you all with for the upcoming holiday weekend. No luck so far, but if you didn't see the first season of Ray Donovan or Masters of Sex on Showtime, you're in luck. You can catch up on both this weekend just in time for the premiere's next Sunday. -Since this week is Seinfeld Week, more fun Seinfeld Facts:
- Seinfeld (the show) has generated $3.1 BILLION since entering syndication in 1995
- Jerry and Larry David EACH make 400 million bucks from the most recent syndication cycle
- For the 1991-92 Season Jerry made 40K per episode
- From 1992 to 1996 Jerry made 100K per episode
- From 1996 to 1997 Jerry made 500K per episode
- For the final season of Seinfeld Jerry made 1MM per episode
- Jerry was offered 5MM per episode for a 10th season and he turned it down
- Larry Thomas, the actor who played The Soup Nazi was paid $2,610 for his stint on the show
- Kenny Kramer gives Seinfeld Tours for $37.50 per person. His bus holds 61 people. Tours are given weekly.
-Before it even aired one episode anywhere, FOX cancelled the show Hieroglyph. Bet that cast and crew is BUMMIN! No new house, no new car, maybe some new sneaks and a bike? That sucksssss for them.
