I Got It! I Got It! I Got It!

I got my new camera today!

Please welcome (with open arms) one of the last iPhone pictures! YES!

I absolutely LOVE it! It’s the perfect size and takes great pictures. Figuring out how to actually control the aperture, shutter speeds, exposure, etc… is going to be a little bit of a learning curve. I took a bunch of pictures this afternoon to play with all the settings. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it soon.

My Dad and I went to get the camera after lunch… Before lunch this is what I looked at all morning.

I was printing the “Birds on a Wire” for CB2 on the HUGE uv printer. While I printed 25 of these puppies, I sipped on a pomegranate yumberry LifeWater.

The printer is so high tech, it actually has it’s own computer. I don’t know why my clumsy self was given this job. 100% risk!!

Luckily, I didn’t mess up. Wheew.

Lunch

We went to the North Salinas Eric’s Deli. I know they are pretty popular but I’d never actually been to one, which made lunch really fun and exciting.

Beware… More iPhone pics.

I ordered the Shrimp Vera Cruz wrap. It was super-duper good! I’ll definitely be going back to Eric’s Deli.

The chipotle tortilla was surprisingly flavorful and spicy. The wrap also had some hidden carrots and a chipotle sauce. Holy yumms!

I also had a diet coke. I was so happy when they gave me an actual glass jar to fill up at the soda fountain. Every restaurant should do this.

My delicious wrap was 480 calories. I skipped the chips because none of the looked very good and my tummy has been NOT HAPPY lately. I’m almost not wanting to eat because tummy troubles are getting really old!

Snacks

While at Target getting a super cheap 8 gig SD card, I spotted a box of mini Larabars that I couldn’t leave without. I chomped on a cherry pie while I read my Nikon’s user manual.

First picture with the new Nikon!!!!

100 calories.

Then I was feeling a little hungry around 4:30 so I made a little granola with blackberries and soymilk.

I think this snack was between 150 and 200 calories. But probably closer to 150.

All I did was add 3 TBSP Cascadia Farms Oatmeal Raisin granola to about 1/4 cup light soymilk. Then dropped 5 blackberries in there. Doesn’t it look pretty?

Loving the pictures. I need to keep learning about aperture and exposure because these are definitely a little dark… hummm.

Dinner

Max came in and we had Thai Food. I’m watching Friday Night Lights with my Pop’s so I need to run but here’s a little taste.
