Sometimes I can be a pain in my now ass especially when shopping and saving at the same time is concerned. For me shopping and saving go hand-in-hand and I get a sense of pride when I shop, save and stay within my budget. In case you didn't get a memo before; I have a monthly shopping budget and I can go to any extent to stay within my budget.
For instance, the and the set that you see on me was a new arrival.
The dress went on a flash sale for $75- I bought it.
The trench went on a flash sale for $110- I bought it.
The trench arrived but it was a tad bit big, so I exchanged it for a smaller size and also requested the customer service representative to honor the price difference cuz by that time the trench was marked down.
I took the trouble of printing the shipping label, packing the return box and requesting a USPS pickup.
I had the set and I was happy, until both the dress and trench got marked down further. It was pretty unsettling for me as I could have saved an extra $40-$50 bucks had I returned the set and repurchased the same on sale.
I ignored, but when the e-commerce store ran a flash sale wherein everything on sale was an extra 70% off, I caved in and reordered the set- EVENTUALLY I PAID JUST UNDER $75 for the set and it was my sartorial JACKPOT!
Now, I have two similar sets, one shamelessly hanging in my closet and the other in the box that needs a shipping label and then a USPS pickup.
Now, that's a serious case of sale-stalking, printing, packaging, mailing and returning..... huh!!!
