Todd Whalen; videographer, visual effects artist and Spidey fan, recently started working at an FX studio that I think has something to do with Marc Webb and the Amazing Spider-Man franchise.
So Todd, created this amazing homemade Scarlet Spider costume and posted pictures of himself as Ben Reilly on the Meg Super Photography Flickr page. And they look Reilly good.
