I Bet Hollywood Doesn't Make a Film About Revolting Californians!

By Davidduff

Yes, indeed, 'The People' (dread words!) are revolting in California - no, no, I don't mean that, I mean they are rebellious and some of them are attempting to break up the entire State into six new 'mini-States'.  I have it on good authority that they don't stand much of a chance but then they said that the last time some Americans rebelled - against us - bloody cheek! Today there is further news which might aid their campaign because according to Thomas Lifson at The American Thinker, two State Senators have had their collars felt by the old Bill  the FBI and if one of them 'fesses up nicely for a lighter sentence then a third 'Honourable and Distinguished' Senator will join them in the slammer.

[G]iven the level of corruption endemic in a state that spends more than $100
billion a year with little scrutiny, a safe assumption would be that there is a
lot more dirt that Calderon [one of the arrested] can expose in return for a lighter sentence, should his taped transactions result in convictions on multiple counts. [My emphasis.]

So what, you might mutter, what else do you expect from those greedy, grasping Right-wing Republicans?  Aye, but there's the rub - they are all Democrats!  And what adds spice to the dish is that with their departure the Democrat majority in the Californian Senate disappears which brings down the shutters on any more loony-toons legislation they might dream up in Sacramento - with the usual help from the whackadoos in San Francisco. Too, too, delicious - now all it needs in November is for enough Californians to stub out their roaches for five minutes and vote the rascals out once and for all.
