Husqvarna HU800AWDH Review
Pros

Ease of Use
Probably the best thing about the Husqvarna HU800AWDH is how easy it is to use.
The Honda GCV engine gives this mower all the power it needs
Starting the Mower
Starting this lawn mower is a breeze, even after after sitting for months without being used over winter it will likely start the first time and without any coughing or spluttering. This is, of course, all thanks to the Honda GCV engine.
Self Propelled
If you have a hilly yard then you will likely be thankful for the all-wheel-drive self propelled feature. It really makes going up those hills a breeze, this will be especially appreciated by an elderly user who doesn;t have the strength to push a mower up hills by them self. There is not much to complain about here, but one issue we did have with this, was we occasionally lost traction when the grass was a little wet – not so much that it was dangerous, but just enough to be annoying. The other problem we noticed was that if you do get yourself into a tough spot that needs to be backed out of, you may have a tough time pulling the mower backwards. I wouldn’t call this a deal breaker, and the problem can be mitigated by being aware that this situation may arise and planning your mowing route accordingly.

Most people remember to change the oil on their gas lawn mower, but many people forget to clean the cutting deck! Cleaning the cutting deck stops premature rusting and keeps your blades in tip-top condition. The Husqvarna HU800AWDH has a built in hose attachment that makes cleaning the cutting deck very easy.
Cut Quality
The cut quality of the Husqvarna HU800AWDH is top notch, it leaves your grass lovely and even with not a stray long blade to be seen! The 22″ cutting deck is a great size and it offers a four point cutting height adjustment.
The “3-in-1” cutting system is great too, what this means is that it comes with everything you need to bag your clippings, re-mulch the grass or side eject the clippings. The mulching works as it should and there is no sign of any cut grass after it has done its work.

Motor Power
As usual, Husqvarna have gone for a Honda motor to power this machine. The high quality Honda GCV Engine 190cc four stroke provides tonnes of torque and the motor can power through pretty much anything you can throw at it. In fact, we actually could not find anything that this mower struggled with!
Build Quality
For the most part, the build quality is great. The one problem we did come across is that the deck can feel a bit flimsy compared to some other mowers on the market. This flimsiness did allow for a bit of flex in the cutting deck which may be a problem in some situations. I actually read one review where the users deck has flexed enough to cause the blades to hit it!
Price
The price of the Husqvarna HU800AWDH lawn mower is a bit higher than many of its competitors, but we feel this is with good reason. The ease of use and power that this mower provides makes it worth the money and if they tried to make it any cheaper, the end product would be inferior.
