However, this is not the point we're trying to raise, it is the video, and how incredibly it has been achieved. In simplistic terms, it is a real-time video of a woman (Boggie) being photoshopped to fit the standard of the industry, right before your very eyes ... now, this is nothing new to be honest, we understand that almost every musician has been photoshopped at some point ... but this really opens the eyes just to how much.
You'll see throughout, that her skin tone, her hair colour, her eye colour, her make-up, her amount of hair, her blemishes, and anything else you can think of, absolutely disappear ... to the point that you'll actually forget what she originally looked like, but that's where the ingenious part comes in.
Right at the very end, when you think everything is done and dusted, and you don't really have much to talk about, they do a comparison of the 'before' and 'after' picture, if you will. Then, and only then, did we notice how radical a change had happened, and were shocked at just how good the industry was at tricking you into wanting to be the impossible.
This begs the question, and rightfully so, why hasn't anyone done anything about this before? We understand that this probably isn't going to get the mainstream attention it deserves from English-speaking civilisations, but it holds a bold message, for all to see, and really makes you wonder whether or not your Britney's and your Katy's are just as flawless as we've come to expect!
