Hudson Taylor, The Heroes ...

Hudson Taylor have cropped up a couple of times now, and they're always ones to impress. Their music is light, sweet, and always has a close-to-the-heart feel right the way through, but this time round, with their new emotive video to join, Weapons may just be the best single they've ever managed.
We'll be honest and say that we took the audio for granted without the accompanying video ... it didn't have quite enough for us to scream about, and this could well be because we didn't have the same vision in mind as the brilliant storyline that you'll see ahead. As with Hudson Taylor, and many other bands that play similarly (the likes of Tigers on Trains, City & Colour, and The Intermission project), they have become renowned for sweet little videos that don't cause any harm or offense to anybody ... and it is refreshing to see these two lads challenging the norm!
What you'll see in this beautifully acted clip, is a young man (Liam McMahon), whom is sent to prison, and his time throughout the ordeal. What you won't know, and have to imagine for yourself, is whether or not his opening and closing scenes are through an escape of the place ... or through time, and time alone, being what got him out alive.
All we know is this; the song, accompanied by one of the most emotive prison pieces we've ever witnessed, is an absolutely astonishing mix that makes us want to see and hear Hudson Taylor more and more. This is a masterpiece.
