Huawei Mate 40 Debuted with Kirin 9000E SoC and Triple Rear Camera

Huawei Mate 40 has been debuted with Kirin 9000E SoC and a Triple rear camera setup. The Chinese tech company finally introduced its next-generation Huawei Mate flagship series with lots of improvement in cameras, charging, performance, and more. Huawei Mate 40 runs EMUI 11.0 based on Android 10 out of the box and offered in Black, Green, Mystic Silver, White, and Yellow color options

Huawei Mate 40 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) OLED display. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, The phone is powered by the Kirin 9000E chipset,  24-core Mali-G78 GPU, and, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM + 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. For more storage, It comes with a hybrid sim slot through which the user can expand the phone storage up to 256GB.


Coming to the optics, The Mate 40 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel (primary sensor) with an f/1.9 aperture + 16-megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor with f/2.2 lens + 8-megapixel (telephoto) sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, It comes with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. It packs a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.


In terms of Connectivity, The smartphone includes the support of 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. For sensors, The Huawei Mate 40 includes a gesture sensor, gravity sensor, IR sensor, in-display fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, laser sensor, and a color temperature sensor. The device measures 158.6×72.5×8.8mm and weigh 188 grams.

The Huawei Mate 40 carries a price tag of EUR 899 (around Rs. 78,000) for the sole variant of 8GB + 128GB variant. The company has not revealed the pricing of its 256GB storage variant.yet.
