Huawei launches quad core Ascend G615 Android phone

Huawei has recently unveiled another Ascend smartphones dubbed as the Ascend G615, a quad-core phone which will be launch in Europe sooner in the year.

At CES 2013 earlier this month, Huawei has unveiled three new Ascend smartphones – the Ascend Mate, Ascend D2 and Ascend W1. Huawei’s production of the new devices is seen by some as efforts by the firm to gain more traction in the mobile market.

The latest Ascend G615 is one of Huawei’s best smartphone to date, it features the following specs:

  • Display: 4.5-inch  IPS display with 720p resolution
  • Processor: Quad-core 1.4GHz Hisilicon K3V2 processor
  • Memory: Internal-1GB RAM, Internal storage – 8GB, External – microSD slot.
  • Camera: 8MP main and 1.3MP front-facing.
  • Battery: 150mAh delivering up to 11 hours of talk time.
  • OS: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
