Huawei Ascend P2 – “World’s Fastest 4G LTE Smartphone”

Huawei came to MWC 2013 with only one device on their hand, that is the new Huawei Ascend P2 smartphone. Successor of the 2012-released Ascend P1, dubbed as “World’s Fastest 4G LTE Smartphone” comes with  4.7-inch HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core CPU and gets powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Huawei Ascend P2 full specs -:

  • Display - 4.7-inch HD display with 1280×720 resolution and Gorilla Glass 2
  • Processor - 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU
  • RAM - 1GB of RAM
  • Camera - 13MP camera on the back and 1.2MP front-facing camera
  • Storage - 16GB internal storage
  • OS - Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
  • Battery - 2,420mAh
  • Others - NFC, Emotion UI, Wi-Fi

Ascend P2 is the first smartphone that supports LTE Cat 4 technology that offers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and it also has a super-slim body measuring at only 8.4mm.

Basically, this device will offer enough speeds for users to download or stream HD movies without any delays. And the custom “Emotion UI” will even give this device a unique look inside Android. Ascend P2 is definitely a device worth looking at. And if the speculated $526-dollar price tag becomes true,  Huawei will make success in 2013 with its’ flagship smartphone.

Huawei will roll out the device in France through Orange in June 2013. And rest of the world in second quarter of 2013.
